Apple store down for maintanance – guess to add Snow Leopard pre-order

Noticed that the Apple international store is down for maintanance… and only 4 days before Snow Leopard is released…
$29 for an upgrade or $79 for full OS sounds like a good deal to me..
Wonder if UK buyers will get ripped off if the dollars price gets directly converted (without currency changes) into pounds (£29 and £79)?
Is Apple busy updating those preorder pages???
