"Oh no it's Unicon come to eat our Robot planet!"

What with all the Transformer new movie hype, I was compelled to re-watch some of the original Transformer cartoons… I started with the Transformer Animated Movie and it was interesting to rewatch it to see if my child hood memories match the real thing…

Mostly it did. The amount of famous people voicing the charactors was fun also (Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle etc were very funny).
The eighties music was also rather fun.

But the shocking thing that I noticed most was the use of the ‘S@”&’ swear word! I couldnt beleive it in a children movie in the 1980’s.

So, if you are on the look out for some 80’s nostalgia, do go and watch the animate movie… and especially lookout for the part where Spike it trying to escape Nimoys robot character.
